Faculty Dean’s meeting with Student Affairs and Academic Advising

On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, a strategic session was held, presided over by the esteemed Professor Dr. Hazem Al-Mashnab, Dean of the Faculty. The session was graced with the presence of Professor Dr. Zakaria Atiyah, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Head of the Academic Advising Unit; Professor Dr. Abduh Diab; and Professor Dr. Mustafa, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit. In addition, the Director of Student Affairs, leaders of academic teams, and the Electronic Services Unit team were in attendance. The agenda focused on the meticulous examination and establishment of protocols and criteria for the second semester’s registration process. The session aimed to facilitate a seamless operational coordination and delineate responsibilities among the various units, in conjunction with the Student Affairs Administration. Deliberations extended to specifying the curriculum for the inaugural semester to be offered in the subsequent semester, alongside formulating guidelines for inter-program and departmental transfers. Moreover, the assembly addressed the formulation of escalation procedures for students encountering academic challenges in the second semester, as well as the evaluation of registration processes for senior students and departmental segmentation.
