Within the frame of the Faculty of Science role to disseminate a culture of security, safety and crisis management to all university employees, an awareness symposium was held at the Faculty of Engineering on Monday, November 21, presented by Prof. Dr. Rafat Al-Khatib, Administrator of the Security and Safety Unit in Faculty of Science, and Dr. Ali Mohammed, Deputy Administrator of the Security and Safety unit. The symposium dealt with the importance of security and safety in public institutions and how to act properly in the event of an emergency, and explaining how to use various firefighting tools that lasted about two hours, followed by carrying out the experience of evacuating the Engineering Faculty building in a proper way in a few minutes.
The symposium was successful and fruitful and the audience interacted with the symposium and all the questions of the attendees were answered
