Vision
- The unit works to ensure that strategic planning is a method for managing and developing the Faculty of Science at Sohag University, enhancing its competitiveness at the local and international levels.
Mission
- The Strategic Planning Unit at Faculty of Science, Sohag, is committed to developing and monitoring the strategic plan and resource management for Faculty of Science, Sohag University, to achieve the faculty’s mission in the areas of education, scientific research, and community service, in light of the faculty’s established standards and values.
Objectives
- Raising the awareness among the staff.
- Developing a cadre of the staff members, their assistants, and the staff capable of strategic planning.
- Monitor the implementation of the faculty’s strategic plan in light of the university’s strategic plan, reviewing and updating it as necessary in light of developments within and outside the faculty.
- Contribute to developing the faculty’s resources and providing technical support for their proper management.
- Contribute to evaluating the educational and research process and community services provided by the college.
