Unit Establishment

  • The Security, Safety, and Crisis Management Unit was established as an outcome of the Continuous Improvement and Accreditation Project, approved by faculty Council No. 333 on February 18, 2009

Vision and Mission

  • Vision
    To have a unit capable of ensuring safety and crisis management using all advanced means and technologies, bringing the faculty to the level of safety, security, and crisis management standards consistent with international standards
  • Mission
    1- Providing security and safety at faculty of Science, including facilities, personnel, and other facilities.
    2- Providing safety measures within the faculty.
    3- Raising awareness of safety measures for all individuals.
    4- Raising awareness of proper crisis management.

    5- Instilling civilized behavior regarding security, safety, and crisis management

 

Objectives

The unit’s objectives focus on several axes:
Axis 1: Safety and Security
Axis 2: Cleanliness and a healthy environment for the faculty buildings
Axis 3: Training
Axis 4: Achieving safety and security standards in the faculty buildings
