Unit Establishment
Quality Assurance Unit was established at the faculty on February 3, 2006.
Vision and Mission

To enhance the faculty’s competitiveness at the regional and international levels.
- Mission
The unit is committed to continuous development and improvement in areas of quality, in light of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Objectives
- Promoting a culture of quality and accreditation and working towards continuous performance improvement.
- Building and enhancing human capabilities and preparing them for excellence and competitiveness.
- Raising the quality of academic programs and graduates through continuous development and improvement.
- Evaluating the educational process by measuring performance indicators and developing and improving plans.
- Meeting the requirements and standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and periodically reviewing them.
- Providing technical support and follow-up regarding quality and accreditation matters.
- Working to implement a comprehensive quality system and automate administrative work
Board of Directors
- Formation of the Unit’s Board of Directors
1- Quality Assurance Unit is part of the faculty’s organizational structure and is treated as an independent academic unit technically to Quality Assurance Center at Sohag University.
2- The faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit is managed by a board of directors headed by the dean of the faculty and the vices. The board’s formation is determined by a decision issued by the dean of the faculty for one year
