Measurement and Evaluation Unit

Vision and Mission

  • Vision
    To raise the student standards and establish the foundations of educational justice and transparency through the continuous development of the measurement and evaluation system.
  • Mission
    Developing the faculty’s assessment and evaluation system based on a set of values, standards, and targeted learning outcomes, and applying quality standards to achieve the targeted educational outcomes of academic programs and ensure graduates’ ability to compete in the labor market.

Objectives

The main objective that the unit seeks to achieve is to solve existing problems in the educational process and establish the foundation for developing future plans with clear objectives and strategies.  This main objective is achieved through the following sub-objectives.

  • Diagnose the educational process and discover its current problems and future obstacles.
  •  Identify students’ academic level in basic skills and abilities, and any changes and transformations that may occur over time.
  • Disseminating a culture of developing assessment and examination systems among all stakeholders in the assessment process.
  •  Developing the faculty’s examination systems to implement electronic tests and implement electronic marking, which contributes to assessing all desired learning outcomes from teaching course content
