Field training unit

Vision

That the outcomes of field training contribute to the qualification of national cadres that meet the needs of the governmental and private business sectors, as field training is one of the important factors in achieving fruitful integration between faculty of science and the labor market
It also enables various institutions and organizations to identify students and select the most suitable candidates for job positions after graduation, contributing to increasing the employment rate of faculty of science graduates at the local, regional, and international levels.

Mission

To establish a continuous and effective partnership with the public and private sectors whose activities are compatible with the specializations in faculty of science. This partnership contributes to creating quality opportunities for the faculty’s students, enhancing their specialized knowledge and equipping them with the skills and requirements for field work.
This enables faculty graduates to compete and excel in their professional and practical lives

Objectives

• Opening channels of communication between the labor market and the students on the one hand, and between staff members, faculty administration, and the labor market on the other. This will help develop academic programs in each specialization and familiarize training providers with the college’s available capabilities.
• Consolidating the concepts, knowledge, sciences, and skills studied in the various courses
Introducing students to the various fields of work they are expected to work in after graduation, in addition to experiencing the actual work environment, which develops their practical skills.
• Informing training institutions of the level of students in the faculty in terms of their academic and practical skills, their aspirations, and the resulting positive impact on the educational process, contributing to the creation of future job opportunities for students in the training institutions
Bridging the gap between university education outcomes and the needs of the labor market and the challenges of the surrounding environment.
