The Faculty of Science at Sohag University organized a distinguished scientific lecture entitled “Competitive Research Projects”<\/strong>, as part of the faculty\u2019s strategy to enhance its academic standing and strengthen researchers\u2019 capabilities.<\/p>\n

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hazem El-Mashnib<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Omar El-Hady<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Amal Abu El-Wafa<\/strong>, Head of the Student Research Team.<\/p>\n

The lecture, delivered by Prof. Dr. Islam El-Sheikh<\/strong>, Professor of Materials Science at the Department of Physics, provided a comprehensive explanation of the mechanisms for obtaining competitive research grants, methods for writing professional research proposals, and the fundamental principles of research project planning.<\/p>\n

This initiative represents a key part of the Faculty\u2019s broader vision to develop a strong research environment, empower students and researchers to successfully compete for scientific funding, and reinforce the Faculty\u2019s position as a center of excellence in scientific research.<\/p>\n
