In continuation of the presidential initiative \u201cBeginning<\/strong>\u201d <\/em>for <\/em>building the Egyptian Citizen<\/em>, the Faculty of Science organized an educational symposium titled, \u201cFuture Visions for Eco-Friendly Renewable Energy<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany<\/strong>, President of Sohag University<\/em>, and Prof. Dr. Hazem Elmeshnip<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Science<\/em>, with leadership by Prof. Dr. Alaa Yosri<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development<\/em>, and Prof. Dr. Khalaf Hammad Gad<\/strong>, Head of the Physics Department<\/em>. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahrous Rashad Ahmed<\/strong>, a Professor in the Physics Department<\/em>.<\/p>\n The symposium focused on various sources of renewable energy\u2014such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, tidal, and wave energy, as well as solar cells\u2014and how they can be effectively harnessed and implemented in practical applications to reduce emissions and pollution.
