through which the Faculty of Science, represented by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, aims to provide services to civil society. The faculty&#8217;s community engagement also contributes to achieving Sohag University&#8217;s mission of activating communication between the university and civil society institutions.\n<br>\nFrom this standpoint, the college works to link the scientific and academic side of the college with the various sectors of civil society, by offering study programs that are compatible with the needs of society and keep pace with the labor market, and by concluding many cooperation protocols to build bridges of communication and cooperation and achieve true partnership with community institutions.\n<br>\nThe cooperation also includes the college conducting numerous field visits to various development sectors, the participation of external community entities in the activities implemented by the college, and the activation of student training services in relevant employment institutions to hone the graduate\u2019s skills and prepare him for various work surrounding environment.<\/li><li>The faculty has undertaken a number of community initiatives that contribute effectively to meeting the needs of the surrounding community.<\/li><li>It also has played an influential role in the development of Sohag Governorate and the surrounding areas, and its role represents an important model for the role of universities in regional development.<\/li><li>The graduates\u2019 students who are capable of joining the labor market and playing a role in various development projects, whether in Sohag Governorate or other governorates.<\/li><li>The faculty&#8217;s various departments also provide research and advisory services through the participation of the staff members in various development projects.<\/li><li>The faculty also carries out numerous awareness-raising activities on community issues and invites various community institutions to attend these activities.<\/li><li>In this context, the faculty, through the academic supervision of the staff members and students, has provided numerous recommendations, consultations, and proposals that have significantly contributed to solving a number of developmental problems.
