Dear students, colleagues, and visitors, I am pleased to welcome you to Faculty of Science website. Faculty of Science was established on December 5, 1974, by Ministerial Decree No. 774. Academic studies began in 1975/1976 as one of the faculties of Assiut University branch in Sohag. It then became a faculty of South Valley University in 1996, until Sohag University became independent in 2006, and becoming a faculty of Sohag University.
